The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is thrilled to announce that board member, Kimberly Jackson, has been chosen as a 2021 First Lady in African American History Honoree by the board and staff of the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum. The First Ladies in African American History is one of the museum's signature events aimed at acknowledging the extraordinary accomplishments of local African American female history makers. The First Ladies in African American History has become a celebrated event that the community embraces with enthusiasm. This year the luncheon will be held on May 1st, and is by invitation only due to COVID precautions.
