Following the aftermath of the recent hurricanes, many in the arts community have been left with damaged homes, studios, galleries, classrooms, materials, and more.
We invite you to read the stories of our local art community members who have been deeply impacted by Hurricane Helene and Milton. Your support, in any form, can make a real difference in helping them rebuild. Whether it's sharing their stories, purchasing their work, or donating, every contribution helps. Let’s come together to support our creative community in this time of need.
If you are an artist in need of support following Hurricane Helene, visit our page for arts recovery resources and share your story with us at [email protected].
Ari Robinson
“I have been a local artist in St. Pete for several years now and my family (me, my husband, son 4, and daughter 1) just lost everything as well as both of our cars in the recent Hurricane Helene. My studio was in our detached garage where I kept my laser (which cost me thousands - saved up for this for years). There was about 3 ft of water that was in my studio space.”
Ari is seeking support to rebuild her business and home, and is offering to create new work for sale to help fund a new laser and essentials for her children. You can view Ari’s work here. For inquiries or to offer support, you can contact Ari at [email protected].
