ZooTampa at Lowry Park is seeking a Costume Character Mascot. The Costume Character/Mascot will perform and take photos as a costume character in ZooTampa and outside the zoo as needed for marketing and outreach events.

The Costume Character Mascot will:

• Perform up to Five 30-Minute sets a day in a costume that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Act as Mascot for ZooTampa and Seasonal Events – Creatures of the Night, Christmas in the Wild, Etc.
• Keep costumes well maintained and presentable for ZooTampa guests.
• Communicate any costume repair notes in a timely manner.
• Performs operational/logistical duties as required for the successful implementation of all events and performances.
• Act as a host for the character when not performing in costume and assist with dressing the costume and escorting the character to and from set.
• Communicate and act as a brand ambassador for ZooTampa when interacting and communicating with guests.
