This Year’s Theme: Fruit Forward
A Juicy Celebration of Queer Creativity
OUT Arts & Culture invites artists from Gulfport and surrounding areas to submit their work for inclusion in ArtOUT, our annual juried exhibit – and to be featured in a limited-edition sketchbook: a brand-new keepsake showcasing the vibrant, unapologetic creativity of our community.

ArtOUT 2025 Juried Exhibit
Selected works will be displayed in-person as part of our annual gallery show in Gulfport, Florida.
Fruit Forward: The 2025 Collection (Limited-Edition Sketchbook)
A beautifully printed, sketchbook-style art book featuring a curated selection of work that celebrates the vibrant, unapologetic creativity of our local LGBTQ+ community.
Artists may submit one piece to be considered for both opportunities, or submit two separate works if they would like to be considered for each medium individually.
Theme:
This year’s theme, Fruit Forward, is playful, proud, and full of flavor. We invite interpretations that celebrate queer joy, identity, visibility, resilience, community, and yes — citrus. Submissions can be literal or abstract, humorous or heartfelt.
We welcome all mediums that can be visually represented in print: painting, photography, digital illustration, collage, sculpture, textile, and more. Final selections for both the exhibit and the sketchbook will be curated based on visual impact, thematic relevance, and print suitability.
Submission Details:
Who can submit: Artists (18+) in Gulfport and the surrounding areas
What to submit: A high-resolution digital image of your work + a short bio and artist statement
Submission fee: FREE
