Deadline: Rolling
A series of free training webinars is available to help cultural institutions across Florida create and strengthen emergency plans.
As the hurricane season approaches and Florida continues to deal with the challenges of COVID-19, arts and cultural organizations need to consider their ability to respond to damage and danger from storms, flash floods, pandemics, fire and prolonged power outages.
Webinars cover topics from risk assessment and creating a plan, to salvage techniques and digitization. These webinars are made possible by Florida Humanities and the Florida Association of Museums Foundation, in partnership with FEMA’s Heritage Emergency Task Force, Florida Division of Emergency Management, Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts and the Society of Florida Archivists.
You can register for the January 21 webinar on Identifying Supplies and Shaping Your Team here.
