Arts education is always a priority for the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance so we have a designated SPAA Education Committee that supports the activities of SPAA's key education initiatives through advocacy, program planning, and securing proper resources.
The work of the committee helps elevate educational programs that empower St. Pete residents of all ages as creatives, in work and in life. We elevate artists and arts professionals: increasing economic growth, cultivating community, and uplifting well-being.
- Arts for Complete Education (ACE) promotes quality arts education in Pinellas County Public Schools.
- The Funding Futures initiative is a grant program for student artists with financial challenges.
- The Arts Business Academy is a six-week certificate course that provides creatives with the skillsets and confidence to build a thriving career. Throughout the year, the Arts Alliance offers free and low-cost seminars and workshops. Subscribe to our ArtBeat email newsletter, for updates.

Join us for a night of provocative musings, muses, interactive artful exhibits and live art performances. MUSE will celebrate artistic inspiration during our annual benefit for the arts recognizing the breadth and beauty of art and culture in our City of the Arts. We’ll pay tribute to those that continue to inspire and guide St. Petersburg to its standing as an international arts destination.
No long speeches or rubber chicken dinner here – instead you’ll enjoy gourmet bites, crafted cocktails and decadent dessert bars. And, of course, the annual recognition of artists and those who support the arts in our community.
For six years MUSE has been our arts party of the season, and this year will again feature surprises that will only be experienced once.
Guests will also enjoy the Museum’s exhibit “The Art of the Stage, Picasso to Hockney.” The exhibition features over 100 studies for scene, costume, curtain, and program designs, as well as maquettes and costumes by noted artists from the nineteenth century to the present day. MUSE will be designed to complement the exhibition.

- MUSE Awards Reception sponsorships begin at $500. These sponsorships help the Arts Alliance facilitate the St. Petersburg Second Saturday ArtWalk; produce the SHINE Mural Festival; publish ArtBeat, the only countywide e-newsletter with calls for arts and other cultural news; provide after school arts education awards; and present arts business programs.
