“From the moment your intellectual properties are seen on the internet as content and are viewed, streamed or downloaded you are earning money. Collect it. It is yours”  ~Camille Barbone

Artists/musicians need solutions right now in these stressful times. And despite what you think, music and art are doing very well, you just have to let go of the old and accept the change quickly.

Music and Art are flourishing as the Internet becomes the primary way for audiences to access entertainment and leisure activities. Every time Art, musical tracks, performance videos or other types of intellectual property is uploaded onto a website the owner is providing content to numerous websites. Content earns money for the website and for content owners but in order to collect royalties, certain steps and procedures must be taken.  To date, over $2.5 BILLON in what is known as Black Box Royalties are unclaimed because the owner or rights holder cannot be identified or found.  Knowledge is power and there are audio fingerprinting steps you must take to establish ownership and get paid for your work.  You can claim your share of Black Box royalties.  Ms. Barbone's master class will walk you through the process in a simple, accurate and comprehensive manner.

Here is what you will learn:

  • How to copyright your music
  • How to collect payments from Digital Service Providers such as Spotify, iTunes and YouTube through the process of audio fingerprinting.
  • The various types of royalties that you are entitled to.
  • The different organizations that collect royalties for you.
  • The codes that must be embedded in your intellectual properties and how to use the.
  • The laws governing Black Box Royalties and royalty collection in general.
  • How to monetize your music and art.

Did you know….

  • Over 40,000 musical works are uploaded onto the Internet daily
  • Digital Service Providers (DSPs) have digitally filed over 46 million instances of unidentified or unfound rights holders claims with the US Copyright Office
  • Music Publishing revenue is up by $1 Billion.
