The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement seeks a Curatorial Assistant to serve as a member of the curatorial team. Located in the city’s arts district, MAACM displays the renowned collections of the Two Red Roses Foundation. Under the direction of the Senior Curator, the Curatorial Assistant will work closely with the other members of the curatorial team to accomplish the MAACM’s mission “to promote an understanding of the American Arts and Crafts Movement through the acquisition, conservation, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of the decorative and fine arts associated with this historical era in America, the late 19th and early 20th centuries.”

The Curatorial Assistant will serve as an important member of the curatorial team, whose primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): assisting with the packing, relocation, and installation of the collections into the new building; participating in the cleaning of the collections in preparation for reinstallation; recordkeeping, research and writing; and other duties as assigned.
