Shackford Violin Studio
Ms. Shackford is a violin/viola teacher with 54 years of teaching experience. She teaches both traditional and Suzuki lessons. She has recently moved to St. Pete and is accepting new students. She has taught both nationally and internationally at workshops and institutes plus founding several studios and music schools. She is a Suzuki specialist and trainer of teachers in the method.
The Suzuki Approach is special! Parents and children develop healthy relationships with daily music practice together. Yes, finding the discipline to practice every day is not easy. However, through this joined effort lies the reward.
Suzuki children play real songs from the start. Listening to the music they will learn gives motivation to keep working.
