I want to tell a story with my clay and mix-media sculptures, whether depicting a character in a precarious position or eliciting an emotional connection with the viewer and drive interaction between multiple viewers. My overall goal is to create art that makes people smile, inspire them to make positive changes in their life, and hopefully be a positive change in the world.

I often find inspiration in creating mystical and non-existent characters, because there are no realistic restrictions in how these beings should be depicted. I also find inspiration in animals that have vibrant colors and simple personality traits like fish and birds. I like to take these animals and personify them to create characters as loud as their colors.
