As a mixed media painter, my narrative compositions are meant to be viewed intimately to appreciate the many layers of detail. My work is a fusion of patterns and forms, focusing on themes meant to unite and encourage. I explore the significance of story by using shared experiences from my upbringing, and as a child free to explore, my youth provides countless themes for my compositions. I believe our cultural experiences and influences create the mosaic of who we become as individuals and creatives.
