Warehouse Arts District Association
The Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) is a member-based organization founded by a group of artists who seek to transform a once-neglected commercial district into an arts destination that is pulsing with art and commerce.
St. Petersburg’s Warehouse Arts District is a thriving community of over 300 artists, businesses and organizations that features creative, highly curated art within the district boundaries of 1st Avenue N and 10th Avenue S and 16th Street and 31st Street.
Home to the ArtsXchange, an artistic enclave with over 50,000 square feet of warehouse space that is being renovated into affordable working studios, galleries, classrooms and performance space. The ArtsXchange is a project of WADA which gives artists a place to hone their artistic crafts in reasonably-priced studios and gallery spaces.
This artist hub consists of 28 working studios and over 2,500 square feet of gallery, education and event space including an artist incubator with plans for an outdoor courtyard and a professional dance studio.
The ArtsXchange Gallery is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visit the ArtsXchange during Second Saturday ArtWalk for special exhibitions and performances, and studios with working artists opening their doors.
