About Alex Chapley

I make abstract paintings in a Neo-Op-Pop Art idiom, aiming to capture and convey psychological energy without reference to the physical world. Since ancient times, abstract art has stimulated consciousness and emotion in this way, and I feel I am working a modern expression of that tradition.
