Smiles of Gulfport Exhibition by Deserie Valloreo

A community takes shape through its people—the faces we recognize, the conversations we share, and the small gestures that make us feel welcome. Smiles of Gulfport celebrates those connections through portraits of the people who give this town its character.

In these paintings, award-winning artist Deserie Valloreo explores how a smile can express something personal while inviting connection with others. Each face carries its own history and personality. Together, they offer a collective portrait of Gulfport, shaped by the individuals who live, work, and gather here.

This exhibition is an expression of affection for Gulfport and its people created with the hope that visitors leave feeling a little closer to their neighbors, with a renewed appreciation for the everyday encounters that create a sense of belonging.

The evening will also feature live music with Deserie & Jim offering their debut performance of the new song “Gulfport Vibe.”

This is a free community event.
