Everything is Fragile: An Exploration in Cyanotype – Artist Talk with Becca McCoy

“Everything is Fragile: An Exploration in Cyanotype” is a solo exhibit from artist Becca McCoy, supported by a Gobioff Foundation Microgrant, to be exhibited at The Off-Central from October 15-25, 2026. This series of cyanotypes combining film negatives, digital negatives, botanicals, and objects explores fragility, permanence, and the ephemeral: Can we empowered, rather than frightened, at the idea that nothing is permanent? What are some things that could have been fleeting but have stayed with you, physically or mentally? What truly matters if “nothing matters”?
