Free Museum Day

The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is excited to present Free Museum Day, an annual celebration of arts, culture, and community that invites residents and visitors to explore some of St. Petersburg’s premier museums free of charge. Taking place on September 19, Free Museum Day encourages everyone to discover the city’s vibrant arts whether visiting a favorite museum or discovering a new one.

New for 2026, Free Museum Day expands beyond museum walls through partnerships with local businesses across St. Petersburg. Visitors who show proof of admission to a participating museum on Free Museum Day can enjoy exclusive offers at participating restaurants, retailers, galleries, and other local businesses. This new initiative encourages attendees to experience the city’s thriving small business community while making a full day of exploring St. Pete’s arts and culture. Participating museums include:

  • Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg
  • The Dalí Museum
  • Imagine Museum of Contemporary Glass Art
  • St. Petersburg Museum of History
  • Queer Asian Museum
  • The Florida Holocaust Museum
  • FloridaRAMA
