Wendy states, “I am thrilled to be awarded the Jim Rolston Professional Development Grant. I am looking forward to expanding the scope of my work by learning some new techniques from a nationally-known potter. Thank you to the St Petersburg Arts Alliance and the Rolston family for making this wonderful opportunity available.”

Wendy has been a professional full-time potter for 12 years. Ten years ago she discovered slab construction, which has allowed her the most creativity and gave a voice to her work.  Now she’s ready to further develop her technique by studying with an experienced hand-building instructor.
