SkopArt, an American-owned and operated artist studio located on the gorgeous Greek island of Skopelos is offering artists residencies for 2020.
The studio is equipped for ceramists, mixed-media artists, painters, printmakers and sculptors. The length of the residency is 2-4 weeks long and scheduled between April and November.
The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts was established as a nonprofit organization in 1999 by artist Gloria Carr to promote the visual, performing and literary arts and education in the arts through cultural exchanges. Skopelos is a unique island with the contrast of light and color, the greenest island in the Northern Sporades.
Participating artists range from newly-graduated to mid-career and established, working on projects pertaining to the culture in some way. Possibilities include color, light, history, mythology, natural surroundings, etc.
