USF Director of Choral Studies

The University of South Florida School of Music is seeking a Director of Choral Studies.

This is a permanent, full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning position #9488. Anticipated start date is August 7, 2019.

Duties include:

Conducting existing choral groups and expanding opportunities to attract a more diverse range of students, teach undergraduate and graduate choral conducting courses, teach choral methods and choral techniques for the music education program, recruit and supervise choral conducting graduate assistants, organize and develop choral/vocal camps/festivals of interest to secondary school students and teachers, serve as liaison to choral groups affiliated with the School of Music, establish and maintain professional relationships with music educators in the Tampa Bay area, recruit to the choral/vocal program, expand influence of the choral activities on the USF campus and in the community.
