Our thanks to the 16 amazing muralists who created St. Petersburg’s new Black Lives Matter mural, to honor Juneteenth 2020.
This beautiful mural spreads across the street in front of the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum at 2240 9th Avenue South, on 9th Ave. S. between 22nd and 23rd Streets South. Thanks to Terri Lipsey Scott, Executive Director of the museum, for suggesting the location.
Each artist painted one letter, carefully social-distancing as they worked.
