The exhibit runs from July 28 through October 23 in the James Museum’s special exhibition gallery. The exhibition will also include the option for guests to purchase art from the show, on site.
The Society of Animal Artists was founded in 1960 to promote excellence in the artistic portrayal of creatures sharing our planet, and to educate the public through art exhibitions, seminars and demonstrations. Members come from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America.
Society artists capture the images of wild and domestic creatures on land, sea and air, in a wide range of media and artistic expression. This juried show is the 58th annual exhibition hosted by the SAA, and features 125 high-quality works of art.
The James Museum of Western+Wildlife Art is open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, and until 8 pm on Tuesday.
