The Arts Conservatory for Teens is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is seeking to fill a new position for its growing organization. Since its inception, the organization has grown from 1 location to 13 satellite locations, providing its curriculum before and after school to over 3,000 students annually throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee Counties, Florida.

The Director of Operations is the key management leader of operations for the Arts Conservatory for Teens (ACT). At minimum the candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of senior management and strong leadership experience, public speaking and writing skills. The DO is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations necessary to ensure that the organization achieves its goals and objectives, which include, but not limited to, programming, partnerships, fundraising activity oversight, grants, promotions, local government relations, community partnership growth and engagement, and donor relations.

In addition, the DO general responsibilities will include the development of a written plan to be executed daily with the team. The plan should include a strategy for effective communication to all stakeholders. To ensure that informed decisions are made by the organization’s executive leadership, the DO will provide timely and weekly data reports.

The DO must ensure that all operations, programming activities, and key performance indicators (KPsI) are monitored closely and executed with the highest integrity to ensure organizational objectives are achieved. The DO will be responsible for fulfilling partnership agreements, policies and procedures for recruitment, management, and retention of volunteers.
