The Ringling is dedicated to sharing its resources and experience with future museum and non-profit organization professionals interested in a career in the museum field. The internship program introduces graduate students to the intricacies of a major museum complex. It provides insight into museum careers through practical work experience not available in most academic settings. Interns participate in daily operations of specific museum departments and have the opportunity to attend museum tours with curators, board meetings, lectures, exhibition openings, and departmental orientations. Two types of internships are offered, including paid and unpaid volunteer experiences.
