Deadline: November 17
IncuArts Gallery in Honolulu invites artists of all media to submit work for the online exhibition, Alone/Together.
Alone/Together is a paradox. 2020 has united and divided the world. There are schisms within our culture that are widening.
At the same time, people are coming together in mass to protest injustices. Wearing a mask can be seen as a simple gesture of kindness towards others, yet may also entice fighting.
What does it mean to be alone? What does it mean to be together? What does that look like? Have you felt alone? Have we come together?
How have you, as an artist reacted to this paradox?
Artists of all media are encouraged to apply. Women, people of color, LGBTQ+, and other community members are encouraged to apply.
Selected artists will be featured in an online exhibition December 1-31 and via social media.
Details and an online application can be found at incuarts.com/alone-together.
