Call for Art Inspired By Current Politics

SaveArtSpace and Art At A Time Like This are looking for artists of all kinds to submit work to an open call for the public art project, Ministry of Truth: 1984-2020, presenting artworks on billboards around NYC.

To be launched in October 2020, just in time for the election, we are looking for artworks that comment on the current state of U.S. politics and will stimulate dialogue about the increasing polarization of our society.

Dread Scott, Deb Kass, Marilyn Minter and Shirin Neshat and other internationally renowned artists will be designing new work to present specifically for this project. The other 50% of artists will be chosen by an open call available to all — students, artists, activists and concerned citizens.
